Discover the House of Oneness
A local not for profit
We welcome you to Treaty 7 lands and the traditional land of Iyahre Nakoda (Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney Bands), the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), Tsuu T’ina and the Metis Nation in Region 3.
Wazin = One
Ichinabi = Feeling part of
Ti = House
“House of Oneness was chosen because from an Iethka perspective we are one with all creation. Earth is a living entity and to be one with nature is a virtue. It is named as such because Elders want everyone to learn this virtue” (the late Dr. Trent Fox, 2023).
“In my class we say, ‘wazin ĩeichninabi’, which means ‘I’m one with you’. I’ll eat, I’ll laugh, I’ll cry with you. That’s what I want to put out there in my class. And it’s working. This is about reconciliation. I’m happy this kind of work is happening,” (the late Buddy Wesley).
